This
project involved a significant renovation
to an existing facility and a new additon
to meet the needs of this top tier healthcare/retirement/assisted
living service provider in a state of the
art setting.
This was a three phase project
that started with first adding on to the existing
Newbury Court Building. Phase two was a stand
alone four story building, followed by phase
three with the demolition of the main building
and tying all buildings together.
The project consisted of resident
quarters, Alzheimer’s units, offices,
commercial kitchens, therapeutic pool, parking
garage, barbershop/beauty salon, aerobics room,
café and home theater room.
200 and 215kva generators were installed for emergency power, along with
a 4000 and a 2500 amp services for the facility's regular power needs. A Notifier
Addressable fire alarm along with paging and nurse call were installed to complete
the project.
